And oh yeah

...some dude named Michael Chabon is going to be here on Sunday. Really it's just a bang-up nuts week of literary superstars. I'll be there, if I can find parking.

Big huge props to Akron, by the way, for building a gorgeous library building, and having it be attached to a parking garage. No idea how that happened, but wow, awesome. I'd go there all the time if it weren't, no offense, all the way down in Akron. (Of course, one could argue you're better off trying to park in Akron to get to the downtown CPL branch, sooooo-o-o-o.)

Did you happen to check out Chabon this past weekend? I'm wondering if anybody bothered to ask why the heck he sold the film rights for MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH to the writer/director of DODGEBALL!

Have you heard about this mess? 85% of Chabon's story has been changed for the upcoming Sienna Miller flick. And apparently, Chabon gave the "thumbs up."
Completely CUT is the gay character of Arthur, Phlox is now Art's ex and Cleveland is his bisexual lover!! Not to mention the fact that Sienna Miller's Jane is now "leading lady."

As they say in Hollywood: $$ talks...
