Special Topics in What the Hell?

So I finished reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics last night.

Yeah.

Huh.

Uh.

Let's say I liked it and leave it at that for now while I continue to, ah, process. And that those of you who had already read it pretty much had every right to giggle to yourselves when you read my previous comments.

Gave up on this book at about page 200. Couldn't get beyond all of the forced cleverness (if there's such a thing). I think Pessl has a lot of potential but this book spewed first novel, needed a good editor in the worst way, and I'll just leave it at that. I may pick it up when/if I ever get more free time, which is probably a week after never.
